The short answer
I photograph Big White ski chalets, condos and short-term rentals for Airbnb, VRBO and real estate listings. Airbnb photography starts at $150 CAD and listing photos at $150, with a flat $120 travel fee per trip. Big White is part of my regular coverage from Kelowna, and winter mountain conditions can affect scheduling and drone.
What sells a ski rental
- The fireplace on and the living space warm and lit
- Hot tub with snow, steam and evening light
- Ski-in/ski-out access or the walk to the lifts
- Boot and gear storage, bunk rooms and how many each bed sleeps
- Summer shots too, if you rent off-season

Pricing
Airbnb photos from $150, Airbnb video from $249, real estate photos from $150, drone from $99. Ski-specific extras:
- Big White travel: $120 flat per trip, charged once even when I shoot several units that day
- Annotated ski-access graphics: $110 for a set of 3 (runs and lifts aerial with legend, top-down ski-in path, deck photo with the run labelled)
- AI snow: $15 per image · AI twilight: $10 per image
- Snow-season return (exterior and drone refresh): $149 plus travel
Example: a 2,943 sq ft Big White rental, 40–45 edited photos plus 10 drone shots, was $399. Add the ski-access graphics ($110) and travel ($120) and the total was $629 before GST. Photos are delivered within 24 hours, graphics and AI edits within 72 hours.
Big White is outside the City of Kelowna, so Kelowna's STR licence rules don't apply there. Check with the regional district and your strata.
